Tim Dominick experienced a steering mechanism failure during hot laps on June 22 resulting in hard contact
with the armco railing and a tumble back down the high banked race track. Tim walked away shaken up a bit
but we look forward to seeing both Tim and his Chevy back on the Hilltop real soon !

 

 

 

 

 

Image quality isn't the greatest, not bad considering I was standing at the turn one entrance
where the first shot (and last dent free shot of the 029) was taken. Glad everyone walked away !

 

I would like to know who that guy standing directly in front of the impact is?
He didn't jump or even move a muscle, but he had to be thinking WTF !
