Little Guys Night Out

Millersburg OH – We took a night at Hilltop Speedway to headline two of our best support divisions, introduce
a possible addition to the lineup, and as always enjoy another exciting Dutch Country Stone Super Late Model
main event. Both previous feature winners at Hilltop, George Lee and Eric Myers eventually found themselves
out front and in a dog fight for the lead during most of the 25 lap feature race with Lee capturing the win.
Chester Elliott and Keith Berner scored heat wins and D.J. Miller won the fast dash.

The Holmes Tire Inc. Mini Stocks lived up to their reputation and provided race fans with another thrilling event that saw a dominating performance by Josh Morrow come to an end with mechanical problems and turn over the action to Tom Ogle and Charlie Ray as those two constantly traded positions before Ray pulled ahead and claimed his first Hilltop feature win. Ray, Morrow, and Ogle claimed the preliminary wins.

It was a little disappointing only six Mod Lites attended their introduction to Hilltop race fans, but credit must be given as the cars were high quality, fast, and well suited to the high banks of Hilltop Speedway. Doug Stanley won the preliminary
race while a very happy Mark Marcucci claimed the main and the $300 that went with it.

The final race of the night went to Brandon Craver who won the Troyers Trail Bologna Mini Truck feature in convincing fashion. Tom Garlick won the first heat followed by Craver in the second.
